  • Welcome

Hello and welcome to my new blog-site!  It's my portfolio and my most recent work all wrapped up in one nice little package! To see my absolute favorite work, go up to the "Galleries" section at the top of the page and enjoy slideshows of my portfolio. If you are just interested in seeing what I am up to as of late, just scroll down and see posts from recent shoots, weddings, events, and even some of the daily happenings in the Lyell home. And to read a bit more about the photography, the pricing, and the photographers (myself and my hubby), go to the "About" section at the top of the page. I will be posting a lot on the blog, so check back often to see what's going on.

Thanks for stopping by, and have a beautiful day

Johnson Family Photos | Full Post

The Johnsons are a completely awesome family.  And I mean completely, totally, undeniably, awesome.  Brad and Christina are the wonderful parents of four energetic and also darling little boys.  I had so much fun with them on our shoot last week.  They totally get my style of photography, to just be who they are, and let me capture the moments.  The real, honest-to-goodness, family moments.  They got it, and I got the images :)  Also Brad and I are kind of doing a business venture together.  He owns a boating company and we have been collaborating on some projects.  He and I took an  engaged couple out in the beginning of Spring, and it was awesome!  We are hoping to do more shoots with families and engaged (or just in love :)) couples through out the summer and fall.  Anyway, that makes him double awesome…check out his website!

With out further ado, The Johnsons,

four wonderful boys :)a train went by which caused some excitement…as well as a little bit of trepidation the two twins are sooo cute :)a little game of simon says is always fun for photosas you can tell…momma loves her boys!thanks Johnsons for everything. you are amazing!

Michelle and Ryan | Full Post

I don’t know if I have ever seen a more beautiful home than the home where this reception was held.  They had their ceremony in Hawaii and came back to Lexington to celebrate with family and friends.  Walking around the grounds was like walking around in the pages of a children’s fairy tale.  There were friends and family everywhere wishing the new couple well and giving hugs, lots and lots of good food, and beautiful decorations.  A very very good evening.gotta love some awesome shoes :)love this one they had a beachy theme for the reception to celebrate their Hawaii wedding.  the gold on the cake above is fish kissing. very cutemichelle’s groom’s cake was star war themed, and really really yummy :)

it started raining, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a great time

this was part of the grounds, the landscaping was gorgeous :)the first dance pictures are some of my favorites. there is so much love in these shotsthanks michelle and ryan for a beautiful evening.  all the best :)
