Kerry and Leon

I have been a little late on posts since Christmas. I am going to some long posts about our time with family, full of photos and fun thoughts. But for now, I am going to put up some photos from a shoot before Christmas. Kerry, Leon and I had a fun photoshoot at Southland Christian Church. We used some nice window light, and even took a walk around outside for some photos. Kerry and Leon are such nice people. We didn’t meet before the photoshoot, but had been emailing back and forth for a while. I always get excited to meet people after email conversations. We talk for so long through email, and don’t really know each other. When I finally get to put the face to the friendly emails I get really excited, it’s the reason I love photography, I get to meet all sorts of people.

the one on the right is one of my favorites from the shoot. There is something classic about their look. I like it!

Leon’s son Jacob joined us for the shoot. He was a lot of fun, and even helped me hold my reflector a couple times. Thanks Jacob!

One thing that was so fun about this shoot was the love that I saw between these two.  It was so sweet to watch them interact during the shoot.  They would just look at each other and giggle, an in love type of giggle.  One that didn’t seem to notice the camera two feet away from them.  I love when the couples are so wrapped up in looking at each other, that they forget I am there.  It’s one of the only times where I would like to be forgotten, to just be something in the peripheral when straight ahead is the love of your life.

Then Kerry, Leon, Dave, Jacob, and I braved the cold for a quick…I mean quick couple of photos.  It was cold out, but they were troopers, and I liked a couple of the shots we came out with!
