So this past Friday, Dave and I hung out with our good friends the Mulletts. They are so much fun, and we laugh a ton when we are with them. You know when you have those friends that just seem to get you, well the Mulletts are some of those friends.
We went bowling. I don’t remember when the last time I went bowling was, I just know it was a long time ago, and I didn’t score past 100. I do remember the experience though, I remember the flashing neon lights, the classic rock rooting you along, the smelly rental shoes, and the bowling alley food. This is experience didn’t let me down, in fact it exceeded my expectations with fried pickles on the food menu, which I regret to inform you I did not try…maybe I’ll be brave enough next time. Another thing that I remember about going bowling is that you always do it with friends, and you always laugh at your self, a lot, (at least I tend to be doing that because I am so bad!) and you always seem to have a lot of fun. This bowling experience with the Mulletts made me treasure the American past time of rolling a ball towards a bunch of pins even more. I don’t think that I will ever score past 100, and I imagine that the shoes will always be smelly, but I can safely say that I really enjoy bowling.

And now here is a little video I put together of our escapade (p.s. i would recommend just watching it in this player, if you go full screen the images will look pixalated).
