We drove through Nicholasville in search of coffee, flowers, and cool vintage props before our photoshoot this week.  My friend Leigh Anna Mullett agreed to be a guinea pig/subject for me this week.  I got a new toy this week and had to try it out.  I got a soft box for my strobe.  It attaches to my flash, and basically just makes the light a lot more flattering.  If you don’t know this about me.  I love getting mail and packages.  I always check the mail everyday and am excited every time that I put the key in the hole.  There is so much possibility in that moment. Laugh all you want, but I get so excited.  I even get excited for email.  If you want to make my day just send a little digital note my way.  So when I ordered my soft box I was checking the mail everyday until it got here.   When it finally came I knew I needed a subject to try it out on.  Enter, Leigh Anna.

She is one of the friends from last post that I wrote about bowling.  She is stunning both inside and out, I just knew she would make a great subject.  And she was.  We had so much fun.  It was more like a girls day than a photo shoot.  We got coffee, laughed, talked a lot, and took some photos, all around it was a wonderful afternoon!

We found this awesome tree/bench. I want to go back and just sit and read here, it was a lovely little spot.

So the photo below on the left is my favorite from the whole shoot.  I love her eyes. They are captivating.

We found this awesome graffiti wall.  It made for some fun gritty pictures.
