The Photographers

That’s us!

We are husband and wife photographic team.  We are based out of Lexington, Ky where Dave is in school at Asbury Theological Seminary.  Dave comes to almost every wedding as a second shooter, and is constantly fueling me with ideas, love, and support.  We love people, we love getting to know their stories, and we love making beautiful images that will last a lifetime, plus we always like to have fun with what we do!

About Stephanie :

I am 22.

I am in my first year of marriage with the most wonderful man in the world, David Lyell (you will see plenty of photos of him on this blog).  He is amazing, I have so much love and respect for this man.  I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have found the man that I love so early in life.  We have a lot of fun.  He is also quite a good photographer.

I love cereal.  Rice Crispys are my favorite  (see I told you you would find out), and I will eat them at any time of the day.

I love coffee…it’s an everyday staple in the Lyell household.

I love animals and can’t wait until we can live in a place where I can take care of a cute little ball of fur.

I love the outdoors. However I usually forget that I do, and will sulk around inside not understanding why I am sulky.  It’s not until I get my lazy butt out there and see God’s beautiful creation, that I realize that my soul needs it.

I don’t really like ice cream all that much.  I know, it’s weird.

I really really like the show 30 Rock.  I just think it is so clever, and I think I might be Liz Lemon’s sister or something.

I like making jewelry.  Although I haven’t made any recently….I need to get back into that.

I love naps on weekends (only if it is in the middle of the day though, I hate waking up when it is dark out).

Spring makes me the happiest.

Life is what you make of it.  Smiling and laughing make it better, faith, hope and love make it best.

God and loved ones (husband, family, friends) are the most important things to me.  I want to try to get better at letting all of them and Him know that everyday.
