My second installment of best of 2011. This one is filled with so much sweetness I can barely handle it. As I was going through all these photos I just kept smiling. It made me so happy. It is kind of a funny thing, I photograph so many families, but I don’t really know yet what it is like to be on the other side of the lens for this type of shoot. It is kind of mysterious, and holy, and magical to me. When I see the love and joy that emanates from these families, it definitely makes me excited to have one of my own. But I am also very content with the magic right now.

Beautiful Stephanie!! I love them… my absolute favorite is the little girl with big green eyes… so captivating! I’d say we have the BEST job in the world!!
This year has been pretty wonderful. As I was going through images from this past year, so many memories ran through my head. Memories of pulling up to weddings, excited for the day ahead, memories of beautiful ceremonies, of tears shed from grooms and brides, from mothers and fathers, of laughter (lots of that), of cute little children running around, of vows, of dancing, of cakes, of cha cha slides, of Dave and I smiling at each other when we realize how awesome our job is, oh and of lots of sweating..haha. Seriously, it has been an amazing year. To all of our brides and grooms and families who let us into your lives and allowed us to document your wedding, thank you, thank you, thank you. You’ve blessed us so.
